FAQs

CONNECT

  • You’re invited to join us for Wednesday Night Dinner! This is the primary social experience where we build relationships across generations, backgrounds and interests at St. Paul's.

People begin gathering at 5 pm, with the meal served starting at 5:30 pm in Fellowship Hall (in the basement). Cost is a free-will offering with a suggested donation of $5 per person. Meals are cooked and served by various groups from the church and community as a fundraiser. We look forward to connecting with you here!

  • The Connect Form on Sunday mornings is a great way to let us know of your interest in participating in an educational offering or volunteering in some way.

You can also email us at office@stpaulshelena.org and we'll make sure the right staff person contacts you.

  • Our pastor would be delighted to connect and begin journeying with you, and is happy to set up a meeting time in the office, at your home, meet for a beverage in town or on zoom -- whatever suits you best.

Please email Pastor Bill at bbarksdale@stpaulshelena.org.

FACILITIES

  • Please refer to the Fee Schedule listed in our Facility Use Agreement for costs and facility protocols.

  • It depends on whether or not your event is public or private.

For public events, we have an internet-based door system that we use to schedule open and close times for the doors. For example, if you have a meeting that starts at 5:00 PM, we would like to schedule the doors to be open at 4:45 PM, and close at 5:30 PM.

For private events in the church, we now have a keypad entry system, and you are provided with a keypad code for entry into the church building. Please note, the keypad code only works 15 minutes before until 15 minutes after your reservation time.

For more information, visit our Facility webpage.

  • Our Facilities Coordinator, Katie Smith, sets the door schedule using an internet-based door system where she can set up open and close times for the doors. We like to close the doors as soon as possible to keep everyone in the church safe, so doors are not open all the time. If you need the door open for an event or meeting, please contact Katie at (406) 502-1063.

TECH

  • St. Paul's A/V Team offers services for events in three main areas:

    • St. Paul's offers YouTube Live Streaming service directly to our church YouTube account with the ability to share the web like of your event with you early in order to share with your potential audience. The team can also video record your event and make the digital video available to you after the event concludes.

    • St. Paul's also offers the ability to display individual slides or slideshow on both of our sanctuary screens during your event. The slides can feature, text, graphics, audio, and video of your choosing. All materials needed should be made available to our Directory of Technology and the A/V team will handle the rest.

    • St. Paul's sanctuary features a large, full-featured, flying P.A. system with additional floor monitoring for musicians, and a full compliment of microphones, all to enhance your music performance.

  • Within a day or so of scheduling your event with the church office, you will receive an email explaining helpful technology-related details including how to provide audio and/or video files for use during the memorial service, as well as contact info for our Director of Technology who will be available to assist further should you have specific, additional questions, or need one-on-one help.

  • All multimedia needs to be provided to our Director of Technology a minimum of 24 hours before the service. This is necessary so the multimedia provided can be organized and tested to ensure everything ready to run on our equipment and our software.

GENERAL

  • Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to provide direct monetary assistance. However, we do give donations to community programs, and we provide ministries such as our Shower Ministry (every Tuesday, in partnership with United Way), we host Family Promise, and we also have a dinner on Wednesday evenings, at 5:30 pm, that is open to all.

  • Contact Judy Nielsen at (406) 431-5959, or Claudia Davis at (406) 461-9618.
